- I am a Georgia licensed, nationally board certified acupuncturist with 13 years experience. After receiving a Masters Degree in Acupuncture from the Traditional Acupuncture Institute (now called TAI SOPHIA), I practiced for 10 years in Baltimore, MD. Three years ago, my husband and I moved to Athens, GA to be closer to our family. Throughout my years in practice, I continue to study with Jeffrey Yuen, a well- known acupuncturist, Chinese herbalist in New York and Kiiko Matsumoto a Japanese acupuncturist who combines an in depth understanding of Western Medicine and classical Chinese acupuncture. I specialize in fertility problems, gynecological and menopausal symptoms, and pregnancy. In addition, I frequently treat allergies, sinusitis, headaches, GI complaints, and back pain. Acupuncture is very effective for depression, anxiety, and insomnia.
